PAID SEVAS

Guidelines to Grihasthas :

The Grihasthas who perform Seva/Utsavam shall have to wear dhoti and upper cloth (uttariyam).They should enter Vaikuntam Queue Complex well in advance and there is no direct entry from mahadwaram.The Anna-Prasadams, Dadhyodhanam, Pulihora etc, will be given to the extent of the requirement of the Grihasthas.The rest of the Anna-Prasadams due to them, with their consent, will be freely distributed to the pilgrims.The Grihasthas who desire to perform any Seva/Utsavam are advised to draw the D.D for prescribed amount in favour of Executive Officer, T.T.D. and send it to the Peishkar, Sri T.T.Tirumala for early confirmation of the Seva-Utsavam at least 60 days in advance.The Grihasthas can also pay the amount at the Vijaya Bank, Tirumala Branch, one day in advance.In such a case the date of Seva/Utsavam noted on the Challan will be the date of performance, subject to availability of Seva Tickets.

The procedure for receiving Prasadams :

In case the payment is made at the Vjaya Bank, there will be an indication in regard to Prasadams in the Bank Challan itself.One copy of that Challan should be presented either at Anna-prasadam free counter or at the Vagapadi(panyarams sales counter of the temple)for receipt of the Prasadams.In case the payment is made by D.D.The Grihastha shall have to surrender the communication(Takeedu) at Vagapadi for receipt of Panyarams and at Anna-prasadam free distribution counter for receipt of Anna-Prasadams.

For the Information of the Grihasthas :

There will be no kalyanotsavams, Vahana Sevas, Unjal Sevas (inside the temple) on the following festivals occasions every year:

-Anivara Asthanam day – July (In the month of Ashadha) – one Day.
-Pushpayagam – October/November – One Day.
-Vasanthosthavam (Annual) – Three Days.
-Brahmotsavams (Annual) – September/October (On all 10 days – In the month of Karthika).

-December 31 to 2nd January due to new years day Darshan (subject to alteration by the Executive Officer).

-Pavithrotsavam–August–Three days.

-Ugadi Asthanam.

-Makara Shankranthi.


Daily Sevas

1. Suprabhatam is recited at 3.00 a.m by a team of Vedaparayanandaa.Rs 100.00 ticket holders are admitted.Due to insufficient space the issue of tickets is restricted to 200.Tickets will be issued at the Vijaya Bank, Tirumala one day in advance.The same can be confirmed by the arjitham officer by way of sending Demand Draft in advance.

2. Thomala Service is done for 45 minutes from 3.45 a.m to 4.30 a.m, Rs 200.00 (each person) ticket holders are admitted to witness the seva through Vaikunta Complex. These Tickets are issued at Vijaya bank one day in advance.Tickets are also being confirmed through Takeed to the devotees who send Demand Drafts from their places.

3. Archana is done from 4.30 a.m to 5.30 a.m Rs 200.00 (each person) ticket holders are admitted to witness the Seva through Vaikunta Complex.These tickets are issued by the Vijaya Bank one day in advance.Tickets are also being confirmed by Arjitham Office on Sending Demand Drafts from their places.

Archanananthara Darshanam Fee Rs 100.00 per head, Time 5 a.m except on Fridays. No advance booking, only current booking in Vijaya Bank.

4. Amanthranotsavam (Thomala Seva & Archana) Rate of the Seva is Rs 600.00 and one person for Archana are allowed through Vaikuntam Complex.The Grihastha is given 1/16 Sola Pongal Prasadam.Confirmation of seva is done by Arjitham Office on sending demand drafts by the Grihasthas.Tickets are issued at Vijaya bank one day in advance subject to availability.

5. Ekantha Seva Fee Rs.100.00 per head.Soon after night Sarvadarshanam is completed, Ekantha Seva takes place.Ekanhta Seva Tickets will be issued at the Vijaya bank on first cum first serve basis and ticket holders are allowed through Vaikuntum Queue complex.No advance reservation for Ekantha Seva tickets.

6. Kalyanotsavam There are two types of Kalyanotsavam.Kalyanotsavam is celebrated every day at Kalyana Mandapam except during Bramhmotsavam and on some festive ocassions.

Payment : Rs 2,500.00

Time : 10.00 a.m

Persons Allowed : 5

Prasadam : 5 Laddus (Big), 5 Vadas, 5 Appams , 5 Dosas, Dadhyodanam, Pulihora, Chakkera Pongal and Pongal.

Bahumanam : Vastra Bahunamam (One Silk uttariyam and Blouse Piece).

Pratyeka Kalyanotsavam is performed with usual rites and ceremony.

Payment : Rs 750.00

Time : 10.00 a.m

Persons allowed : Two

Prasadam : One Laddu (Big), and One Vada

Bahumanam : Uttariyam and Blouse Piece.

Rs 750.00 Kalyana Utsavams are confirmed on the dates chosen by the Grihistas on sending Demand Drafts at least 60 days in advance under advance booking also.Grihistas can also purchase Kalyanotsavam Seva Tickets at Vijaya Bank, Tirumal on payment of cash one day in advance under current booking after 8.00 a.m on the previous day.

Rs 2500.00 Kalyana Utsavams can be performed on acceptance of amount one day in advance also on the days of performance of Kalyanautsavams ( Before the commencement of Kalyanautsavams at 10.00 a.m ).

7. Arjitha Brahmotsavam

Vahana Sevas Provided : 1) Pedda Sesha Vahanam (Gold)

2) Silver Garuda Vahanam

3) Silver Hanumantha Vahanam

Persons Allowed : Five

Performance : On any day after 1.00 p.m

Bahumanam : One Uttarayam

Grihasthas should go through vaikunta complex in advance.

8. Dolotsavam (Unjal Seva) : Sri Malayappa Swami (Utsava Murthi) together with Bhudevi and Sridevi is seated on a cradle (Unjal) at Aina Mahal (Mirror Hall) and swung to the accompanient of Vedaparayanam and Mangala Vadyam.

Payment : Rs 750.00

Persons Allowed : Six

Performance : On all days at about 1:30 p.m

Bahumanam : One Sesha Vastram and Blouse Piece.

9. Vasanthotsavam

Payment : Rs 3000.00

Time : 2 p.m

Persons Allowed : Ten

Bahumanam :Vastrams, Vadas, Dadhyodanams, Pulihora, Pongal, Chakra Pongal

10. Sarvadarshanam is provided from 6 a.m to 11 a.m, 12 noon to 7.00 p.m and from 8.00 p.m to 10.30 p.m or till the Sarvadarshanam line is close on all days except on Wednesday,Thursdays and Friday.On leave days about 14 hours are allotted for Sarvadarshanam and on peak days, it will be 18 to 20 hours even.

MONDAYS
VISESHA POOJA

Payment : Rs 3,000.00

Bahumanam : Vastram, 5 Big Laddus, 5 Vadas

TUESDAYS
ASHTADALA PADA PADMARADHANAMU ( II Archana with 108 Golden Lotus Flowers) is performed for 15 minutes

Payment : Rs. 3,500.00

Persons Allowed : Five

Bahumanam :10 Big Laddus, 10 Vadas and Vasthra Bahumanam

Time : 6.30 a.m

It is introduced in commemoration of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of T.T.Devasthanams.

WEDNESDAYS
SAHASRAKALASABHISHEKAM : This is a special Arjitha Function performed by devotees for their material and spiritual well-being.It takes place at about 5.30 a.m.

Payment : Rs 5,000.00

Persons Allowed : Six

Prasadams : 7 Big Laddus, 7 Vadas, 7 Appams, 5 Dosa, Dadhyodanam, Pulihora, Pongal, Chakkera Pongal and Payasam

Bahumanam : Vastram

Note : After the Second Bell ( Second Nivedana ) Sarva Darshanam starts at 8.00 a.m instead of at 6.00 a.m and will be continued till 7.00 p.m and again starts from 8.00 p.m and continued till the close of Sarva Darshanam line.On a average the total number of hours set apart for Sarva Darshanam on Wednesdays is 13 ½ hours and it goes upto 18 hours on peak days.

THURSDAYS
TIRUPPAVADA SEVA consists of cooking a large quantity of rice as Pulihora and offering it to the Lord along with other sweet preparations.It is performed to the Lord at 5.30 a.m

Persons Allowed : Six

Performance : 5.30 a.m

Prasadams : 7 Big Laddus, 7 Vadas, 5 Jilebi, Appam, Dosa, Tentola, Pulihora, Chakkera Pongal, Pongal Payasam

Bahumanam : Vastram

Note : Kainkaryans will take place between 6 a.m and 8.00 a.m with II Bell,(II Nivedana) etc.Sarva Darshanam on that day starts at 8.00 a.m and will be continued upto 6 p.m Maha Suddhi and Poolangi Samarpana take place between 6.00 p.m and 8.00 p.m and Poolangi Samarpana starts at 8.00 p.m and continued till Sarva Darshanam line is closed.On an average 12 ½ hours on lean days and 16 hours on peak days, are set apart for Sarva Darshanam. Netra Darshanam of the Presiding Deity (Moolavarlu) is important on this day.

FRIDAY
ABHISHEKAM to the Main Deity takes place for 1½ hours from 3.30 a.m for which ticket holders of Rs 750.00, Rs 300.00 and Rs 150.00 (for each person) are admitted.Only a limited number of tickets are issued for Abhishekam.On that day Thomala Seva and Archana take place from 7.00 a.m to 8.00 a.m for which Amanthranotsavam ticket holders of Rs 600.00 are also allowed.Sarva Darshanam starts at 9.00 a.m and will be continued till 9.00 p.m and again Sarva Darshanam starts at 10.00 p.m and will be continued till the entire queue is cleared.The duration of Sarva Darshanam on this day will be 13 ½ hours, on lean days and 16 ½ hours on peak days.


Periodical Sevas

Koli Alwar Thirumanjanam is a purificatory function performed in the sanctum and the entire temple premises.

Payment : Rs.3000.00

Persons Allowed : Ten

Time : 11.00 a.m

Prasadams : 15 Laddus,15 Vada,10 Appam,10 Dosas,Dadhyodanam,Pulihora,Chakkara Pongal and Pongal (1/16 Sola each).

Bahumanam : One Uttariyam

Vsanthotsavam

A three day festival conducted in the month of Chaitra.It will also be performed every day except on Thursdays and Fridays.

Payment : Rs 3000.00

Persons Allowed : Ten

Time : 2.00 p.m

Prasadams : 20 Dosas, 6 Vadas and other Anna-Prasadams

Bahumanam : One Uttariyam

Pavitrotsavam

Essentially a purificatory ceremony and its object is to expiate the sins of commision and arising in the daily worship and other religious rites performed in the temple.This function is elaborately performed in August.

Payment : Rs 7,500.00

Persons Allowed : Five persons will be allowed during functions, two persons for Thomala Seva and Archana for one day as per the convenience of the Temple Authorities.

2nd Day : 30 Dosas, Pongal Prasadam

3rd Day : 30 Dosas, Pongal Prasadam and Vastram

Pushpayagam

This is the worship of the lord with a variety of sweet and fragant flowers. It is conducted on Sravana Nakshatram day after Brahmotsavam.

Payment : Rs 3,500.00

Time : 6.00 a.m

Persons allowed : Five

Bahumanam : Vastram, One Dupata, One Big Laddu, One Vada


Float Festival

This festival will be performed once in a year in Februvary-March for Five Days, Five persons will be allowed.

Payment : Rs 2,500.00

Time : 6.00 p.m

Persons Allowed : Five

Bahumanam : One Upper Cloth, One Blouse Piece

Abhidheya Abhishekam

This will be performed three days in a year generally in the month of June every year.

Payment : Rs 2,00.00 per day

Time : 8.00 a.m

Persons Allowed : Five

Bahumanam : Upper Cloth, Blouse Piece, One Laddhu, One Vada

Padmavati Parinayam

This is an important Seva performed for three days in the month of May during 'Sulka Navami Dasami' and 'Ekadasi'
Payment : Rs 5,000.00 per day

Time : 3.00 p.m

Persons Allowed : Five

Bahumanam : Silk Vastram, Blouse and Prasadams (5 Big Laddhus, 5 Vadas.)

Laddu Padi

Arjitham Big Laddhu Padi : Payment Rs 2,500.00

Small Ladhu Padi : Payment Rs 750.00

Persons Allowed : Five Persons will be allowed for Srivari Darshanam.30 Laddhus will be given for Dharshan.

Mini Ladhu Padi

Payment : Rs 250.00

Persons Allowed : Two persons will be allowed for darshan.10 Laddus will be issued after darshan. No Laddu Sevas on Saturdays and Sundays.No Advance Booking, Current Booking in Vijaya Bank, Tirumala.The issue of Tickets is subject to availibity.Admission during Sarva Darashanam.

Puspha Pallaki

This Seva is performed on Anivara Asthanam Day in the month of July.

Payment : Rs 1,00.00 per day

Time : 5.30 p.m

Persons Allowed : Five

Bahumanam : Upper Cloth, Blouse Piecse, One Laddhu, One Vada

Kalyanotsavam

At Srinivasa Mangapuram, Narayanavanam and Nagala Puram

Payment : Rs 300.00 per day

Performance : Daily

Time : Between 10.00 a.m and 11.00 a.m
